BFP's Photo Booth--Show Congress Where You Stand
Sep 13, 2017
Brooklyn For Peace ( www.brooklynpeace.org ) has been setting up a Photo Booth to "Show Congress How You Feel."
We took pictures of residents holding signs with messages to Congress printed on them. Issues of endless wars, overstuffed Pentagon war budgets that funds the military at the expense of human needs, opposing Trump's bellicose warmongering with Korea that threatens nuclear war, the need to resist Trump's militarist approach to immigrants and refugees fleeing war and poverty, among other issues of war and peace—all these issues are photographed while being held aloft by passersby.
We are posting them on this site and will forward them to our Brooklyn House members and our U.S. Senators. We want them to hear from the people of Brooklyn.
Oh, if you want to work with us on this and more projects for peace and justice, just email us at pej@brooklynpeace.org
